A core component of the Americas Energy Summit & Exhibition is highlighting the economic benefits that the industry brings to the local area and community. The Leaders of Tomorrow Program features an essay competition for students, who will also get to participate and network with prospective employers at the event.

This year we are expanding on our existing partnerships with SOWELA, McNeese State University, Louisiana State University and The University of Louisiana at Lafayette to incorporate a wider pool of universities in Louisiana that teach relevant courses to the industry. This will ensure both the outreach and opportunities are available to more students looking to move into careers within the energy space.

The three award winners will be announced during an awards ceremony as part of the Strategic Conference on November 2, 2023. All competition entrants will also gain complimentary access to a networking breakfast and to the entire event to enable them to participate in vital industry learning and networking opportunities with key industry players.

The Americas Energy Summit & Exhibition has a proven track record of bringing an international and pan-regional audience from the LNG, gas, and hydrogen community to explore opportunities in the Americas region, and the Leaders of Tomorrow program will offer a unique pathway to developing the next generation of energy professionals.
