2022 Summit & Exhibition Highlights
The 19th Americas LNG & Gas Summit & Exhibition was in Lake Charles, between 1-3 November 2022. Attracting more than 500 delegates, it ran two parallel streams of commercial and technical topics discussing the key issues affecting the global LNG industry as it responds to several disruptive forces as it looks to grow.
Clair Marceaux interviewed Mayor Nic Hunter on the state of the LNG industry in Louisiana following a disruptive 2020 which included a global pandemic, two hurricanes, and an ice storm. Hear how the community is working together to overcome the impact of these events, and look ahead to a major international gathering, which has been brought to the State of Louisiana.
“LNG projects need to develop their nimbleness, creativity and willingness despite this global crisis“
We caught up with our Steering Committee member, Clair Hebert Marceaux, Port Director, Cameron Parish Port, Harbor & Terminal District, to hear her thoughts on some of the most pertinent topics in the industry. From her perspective on USLNG’s social and economic impact, to her opinion on the implications caused by COVID-19, Clair’s interview provides a unique insight into the industry.
